The compilation of literary resources we present here is aimed at familiarizing both undergraduate and postgraduate students as well as Secondary and Primary trainee teachers with the major currents in the history of literature(s) in the English language. But this compilation also aspires to simplifying English literature for our young -and not so young- students in order to allow them to assimilate the basic ideas, names, titles and periods of what constitutes one of the most interesting supranational literatures in the world. Indeed, we also hope to have contributed to helping our students to enjoy English literature as much as we have enjoyed learning and teaching it.
